What stays on your device

• Saved items live in this browser's local storage; clearing this site's data removes them.
• Composer text is kept on the current page only and is cleared when you refresh or close it. It is never uploaded.
• Copy actions use your browser's clipboard and happen on your device.

First-party page counts

The site counts page views with its own first-party service, not Google. Each view is stored as a page-view event with the time in UTC, the page path, the referring site's domain (not the full address), a coarse country code, and broad device, operating-system and browser categories. Visits are grouped as human or crawler, with fixed success and status entries used by the shared statistics format. Search terms, saved items and composer text are not recorded.

To count daily unique visitors, a pseudonymous visitor hash is derived from the request. It uses a secret salt that rotates every day, so the hash changes daily and is not used as a stable cross-day identifier; it is not a cookie. It is still a pseudonymous value used only for counting, not a guarantee of complete anonymity. Raw IP addresses and user-agent strings are not stored in the statistics database; they are processed transiently in memory to build the hash and the coarse classes. The first-party counts do not read or store visitor cookies. The local database keeps raw records for 14 days and daily aggregates for 90 days. A private operations dashboard may keep exported daily aggregates - counts plus the coarse country, device and referring-site dimensions - for longer or indefinitely to show usage trends and capacity; those exports contain no raw IP addresses, user-agent strings, visitor identifiers or cookies, and are not sent to Google or other third parties. The counts are coarse and used only in aggregate; we do not claim that every aggregate is provably anonymous. If a statistics write fails, the page still works and only that count may be missing.

Search links

Search terms are part of the page address. If you open or share a link that contains a search term, that term reaches the server with the page request, but the first-party counts store only the page path, not the term. Filtering after the page has loaded stays in your browser.

Optional analytics

Where Google Analytics 4 is enabled in production, regional policy controls its default. In the EEA, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, other conservative jurisdictions, or when your region cannot be determined, it loads only after you explicitly allow it; before then, the page makes no Google Analytics requests and sets no Analytics cookies. In other recognized regions it is enabled by default, and you can turn it off at any time from the Analytics settings control in the footer. The site displays no advertising and enables no advertising signals.

When optional Analytics is enabled, your browser loads the Analytics script directly from Google and sends a page view to Google. That is a direct connection between your browser and Google, so Google can see your IP address and technical browser or device information, as with any third-party request. We do not relay this data through our servers. The page view contains the page path without query or fragment, the page title shown in your browser tab, and the referring site's origin only, not the full address.

Your choice is stored in browser storage for up to 180 days, and the Analytics cookies are configured to expire after 180 days without automatic renewal. You can review or change that choice at any time from the Analytics settings control in the footer. If you decline or later revoke, the site stops further Analytics for this site and deletes the Analytics cookies it can identify. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control turn optional Analytics off in every region and override the regional default or an earlier Allow.
